Colorado's 2007 Champion: Garrison Hayes
Garrison rarely complained about anything, so when he mentioned the soreness in his knee his parents immediately took him to The Children's Hospital. The following day they were called to return for a bone biopsy. Within 4 days of his initial visit, Garrison began chemotherapy treatment for osteosarcoma -- bone cancer.
