The Children's Hospital is gearing up for the big move to their new facility in the Fall of 2007. Prior to packing their bags and closing their doors, The Children's Hospital has formed partnerships to fulfill their commitment to maintain a significant presence in downtown Denver and throughout the region.

The Children's Hospital Partners with St. Joseph Hospital

The Children’s Hospital will open a new pediatric hospital within a hospital at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in late summer 2007. It will be staffed by Children’s.

To be called “The Children’s Hospital at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital,” the new entity fulfills Children’s commitment to maintain a significant presence in downtown Denver, in addition to continuing its initiatives and partnerships with other health-care organizations. The new facility, which will include urgent care and emergency services, observation beds and inpatient beds, will be housed in completely renovated space at St. Joseph Hospital.  Read More...

 

The Children's Hospital at Parker Adventist Hospital

The emergency department at The Children’s Hospital at Parker Adventist Hospital is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week by The Children’s Hospital pediatric emergency medicine physicians and nurses.

“The expansion of emergency services allows children in the Parker area access to around-the-clock, high-quality pediatric care,” said Andrea Ferretti, director of Children’s Hospital at Parker Adventist.

Children’s at Parker Adventist also provides around-the-clock care for children in its pediatric inpatient unit, as well as daytime specialty care clinics accessible through referral from a primary care physician.

Pediatric care specialties at Children’s include: cardiology, dermatology, otolaryngology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology and EEG, adolescent medicine, urology, pulmonary and pediatric surgery.  Read More...

 

The Memorial Hospital for Children in partnership with The Children's Hospital

The Children’s Hospital, Denver, and Memorial Health System, Colorado Springs, announced the formation of a partnership to manage jointly the new Memorial Hospital for Children in a shared effort to provide world-class neonatal and pediatric services to children in Colorado Springs and southern Colorado.  The new entity replaces Memorial’s existing Colorado Springs Children’s Hospital at Memorial Hospital.

Both The Children’s Hospital and Memorial Health System are focused on delivering the highest quality, family-centered care for children and their families.  They are also the only two National Association of Children’s Hospital and Related Institutions (NACHRI) designated and nationally recognized children’s hospitals in Colorado.

Memorial Hospital for Children in partnership with The Children’s Hospital enhances the opportunities for additional research, clinical trial participation and timely and constructive information exchanges to benefit children of southern Colorado and our surrounding areas.  Read More...
